Just in time for Women's History Month, the VRC has added 45 images to MDID from "Pipilotti Rist: Pixel Forest," the fully illustrated catalogue accompanying the recent widely acclaimed exhibition of the same title. The first comprehensive New York survey of the work of Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist, the exhibition featured pieces spanning the artist's entire career, from her early 1980s videos, investigating the representation of the female body in pop culture, to her newer expansive, immersive and dreamlike multimedia installations.
