In celebration of National Hispanic *and Latinx* Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15), we wanted to share a few resources in the library highlighting some of the ENDLESS ways in which Latinx and Hispanic cultures, histories and contributions have helped shaped the U.S. and continues to do so.

Here's a small selection of titles that we have by and on Latinx and Hispanic artists/authors/characters for you to check out in person at the Library:
A collage of eighteen colorful book covers from a range of Latinx or Hispanic authors or artists.

We also have a DVD display section dedicated to Latinx and Hispanic Film Directors, which will be rotating so come in person to see what we have!
A photograph of the film display featuring movies done by Latinx or Hispanic film directors, including eleven titles on shelves.

And of course, the VRC offers thousands of images of artworks by Latinx, Chicanx, and Hispanics - the below screenshot featuring a selection from the amazing exhibition catalogue, Axis Mundo: Queer Networks in Chicano L.A.:
Screenshot of MDID, displaying 30 thumbnails of artworks by Chicanx queer artists working in Los Angeles, included in the exhibition "Axis Mundo."

Lastly below is the official site to get more information on events and other resources to access!
