The SVA Library has subscribed to Flipster, a digital magazine solution for reading complete digital surrogates of magazines online and via a mobile app. It's available to all SVA students, faculty and staff, and is a great reading option for NYC commuters!

The library subscribes to 35 magazine titles in Flipster: 
3D World, Animation, Aperture, Art in America, Artforum International, ARTnews, Atlantic, Bitch Magazine, Bon Appetit, Cinema Scope, Communication Arts, Computer Arts, Creative Quarterly, Drawing, Dwell, Elephant, Empire, Esquire, Food & Wine, Frame, GamesMaster, ImagineFX, Juxtapoz, Modern Painters, National Geographic, New Yorker, NYLON, PAPER, Real Simple, Rolling Stone, Sight & Sound, Total Film, Vanity Fair, Wallpaper, Wired

To read on your computer, visit the library's A-Z databases list, and click on Flipster. From off-campus, you'll be prompted to login with your MySVA credentials.

To read in the Flipster mobile app, download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, and open the app. Then, locate the School of Visual Arts and tap log in. SVA's login credentials can be found in the Electronic Resources list under the Library tab in MySVA.
 


Voila! You're automatically taken to SVA's digital magazine subscriptions. Download the issues you want to read and they'll be saved in the app in My Shelf for future reading.
