Photo of the voter registration formAre you hoping to vote in the upcoming presidential primary elections? Make sure your voter registration is in by your state's deadline. The New York presidential primary election is on April 19th. New York state voter registrations need to be postmarked no later than March 25th and received by a board of elections no later than March 30th to be eligible to vote in the Primary.
The SVA Library has New York state voter registration forms available, but you can also print out your own voter registration form to mail in. The New York state DMV provides an online voter registration form if you have a NYS driver's license or ID. You'll need to create a MyDMV account to register to vote online.
If you're planning to vote in another state's primary election, check your voter registration deadlines, as they vary from state to state.
